Cub Scout Pack 262 was first chartered on October 1st, 1962 and since then; it has grown into a strong and positive part of the Clayton community. Today, the pack still honors the finest in scouting traditions by continuing to provide a structured and varied scouting program that has something fun and exciting for every boy who joins the pack.

Located at the foot of Mt. Diablo’s northern face, Pack 262 uses this stunning backdrop of natural beauty to bring the scouting experience to the boys. Whether it is a pack overnight on the mountain, or hiking along the trails that wind through Clayton and the surrounding hills, we love to experience and have appreciation for our environment and the community we live in.

Our motto, “Pack 262 Rocks” is emblematic of our focus on the boys and their scouting experience, as well as the commitment of the pack’s BSA trained leadership and volunteer spirit.

Pack 262 meets at 7:00 PM on the third Thursday of every month during the school year at Mount Diablo Elementary in Clayton. We welcome all boys of elementary school age and their parents who wish to visit and share in the fun!
